Joan had been a keen supporter of Hillside for a number of years. She had a deep love for animals of all types, including farm animals and a deep concern for their welfare. Joan donated regularly to several other charities, including dog welfare  but specifically chose Hillside for the work they do with farm animal rescue.

Joan would be grateful for the donations made in her memory to be used towards providing sanctuary for vulnerable creatures whose suffering she felt so deeply.
