In loving memory of Maurice Tarling, of Clacton-on-Sea, who passed away aged 91 on 24th September 2023.

He was a loving husband, Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad, and friend to all, and he and his lifetime of stories will be sorely missed.  A phone call with him made even the worst days seem sunnier.  Maurice loved the countryside and all animals, with a particular affinity for song birds, dogs, rabbits and cows.  He loved the Hillside calendars and showing the beautiful animals to entertain the children, and retained a childlike wonder for the natural world.
