Marion was a beloved wife to John, and a devoted mother of four children and a grandmother of two, and she absolutely loved all God's creatures. Over the years her & John owned several dogs, a rabbit, a cockatiel and several guinea pigs but she always held donkeys close to her heart. Marion donated to several donkey sanctuaries for many, many years 'fostering' several and receiving updates and letters from them. Marion fell in love with Hillside after she & John paid a visit whilst on holiday and she made regular donations to the charity thereafter. When Marion celebrated her 80th Birthday in March 2023 the family bought her a donkey for her garden. Not a real one, I hasten to add!

Marion sadly passed away in June 2023 and she is sorely missed by all her family and friends.
