My Mum, Margaret Hammond, passed away 19^th Dec 2022. She was 110 and almost 7months old. All her life she has loved all animals.  She was at the time the oldest person in West Yorkshire and the 6^th eldest in England. 

I inherited that love and was able to take it to the next level. Since my retirement  in 2007  I've taken in Ponies, goats, sheep, dogs and cats, Chickens, ducks and geese, quail, owls. parrots, all nature of wild life, even fish and not forgetting my beautiful pig Nina.  

I have supported Hillside for some years now.  When I've been able, after checking my own are ok.

I collected £172.00 at Mum's funeral in lieu of flowers.  She would have liked Hillside to have it.
