Joyce Elaine Frank May 20th, 1950 - December 12th, 2024 

I met Joyce approximately 11 years ago at a hair salon. I noticed she kept a photo of her Blue Tortie Himalayan mix cat “FuzzBunny”. I left gifts for Joyce and her cat.

When we finally met again it was like sisters reuniting.  We enjoyed long chats, pizza lunches and stories of the wild wild raccoons she had raised. Joyce loved animals and kept many happy cats. When she said goodbye to FuzzBunny she sat me down and told me she couldn’t live without a cat but was afraid of her age and living alone. I told her I would take care of her next cat so she could enjoy her life without worries. Soon Bella arrived and for 4 years Joyce was happy, until her illness meant she needed to go into a nursing home. I immediately took Bella home, sneaking her in for a visit to Joyce. Joyce, on her last day, called me twice wanting to talk Bella and thank me for visiting her, she loved me and taking care of her. I miss her very much. Friends like Joyce are rare, cherish them while they are with you.
