In loving memory of John Wilkes born 18.5.1947 and sadly lost 30.3.2024 

A lovable, knowledgeable, and kind Gentleman who was always happy to lend a hand or advice in any situation, for his friends and family. Formally a builder and big DIY enthusiast who could fix, build, and turn his hand to anything. He dearly loved and was also dearly loved back, by his soul mate Trish and his 5 children and many grandchildren. John will be sadly missed by all after courageously battling cancer with a positive attitude. The whole way throughout we all saw him as such a role model for all sufferers. His love of life extended to his love of animals, having and caring for so many pets, especially birds which he would hand rare. John and his partner Trish would regularly donate and visit hillside sanctuary and loved the work they do. With his big love for donkeys and all animals’ Johns last wishes was to leave a sum of money in his will to Hillside which we will be presenting to them hopefully this year, in John’s memory, to help them carry on doing the great work they do caring for all their animals.
