Hi my name is Hayley and I am trying to raise awareness and funds for Hillside animal sanctuary. I am running a "Tough Mudder" event for Hillside on 12th July 2014 that is being held in the Midlands region as I come from Newcastle under Lyme. This is a challenge with a difference though! I was diagnosed with Systemic Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis at the age of 12 and have arthritis in 48 joints that requires a lot of medical care and medication to control the symptoms. As you can appreciate, this is not an easy challenge for anybody, let alone somebody with restricted movement and mobility! It's basically a 13 mile military assault course! I am asking for donations to be made to the sanctuary on behalf of my taking part in this event, any little can and will make a difference in the lives of the animals they save and also actively work to protect. They not only take animals in need in and turn their lives around, but seek out and investigate acts and cases of animal cruelty. So any donation would be greatly revived and put to good use. £4 would buy a bale of hay for a would be starving horse or some food for a tired and abused cow. Please use the link provided to donate!
